Music
O come, let us sing to the Lord!
Music at Emmanuel Church is an offering to the glory of God. The music is chosen to complement the lessons and the sermon text, as well as the liturgical year. Hymns are chosen from three sources: the 1982 Hymnal; its supplement, Wonder Love & Praise; and Lift Every Voice and Sing (LEVAS), an African-American Hymnal containing a collection of spirituals, gospel songs, and evangelical hymns.
We are blessed with a lively and vibrant music program that includes an Adult Choir, a Handbell Choir, a Folk Band, and many talented people who accompany these groups from time-to-time with musical instruments.
We welcome you to join in our music ministry! Please email us and let us know if you'd like to sing, ring bells, or play an instrument with us!
